Mission Accomplished: Jeff Lipscomb

I have been a member of the Winder Branch since December 2002! At first I didn’t utilize the facilities like I should but in 2004 I experienced a couple of personal and professional crises. These experiences kick started my well being again! I began to workout at least three times a week on a regular basis. I lost around 25lbs and my energy level, self confidence and personality are back! Since becoming a regular attendee, I have participated in Softball, Coached a year of youth Soccer, volunteered on the Share the Spirit Campaign & produced a concert for the YMCA. I really do believe in the YMCA Mission Statement: “To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy Spirit, Mind, & Body for all!” Thanks to Kurt, Summer, & the friendly staff and members for being there for me in the midst of a crisis!
